A new project, a green light, and the real work begins.
In the first episode of The Build, I kick off this brand new podcast series by sharing the exciting news — planning permission is officially granted for my wheelchair-accessible annex conversion. From early design sketches to architect support and selecting the right builder, this episode dives into what it took to get here. Spoiler: nothing moves as fast as you think it will.
With the build tentatively set to start in June, I reflect on the lessons learned so far — patience, planning, and pivoting when needed (especially with the bathroom setup!). Join me as I lay the groundwork for the journey ahead.
